About Claire

Claire is an experienced, qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP working with individuals, couples, and groups, in a safe and confidential environment. Claire works relationally within a Transactional Analysis framework enabling you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The patterns that emerge give you the insight and power to begin to resolve and heal physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Claire believes every individual is unique and every relationship is unique, and this must be treated holistically and with care. Claire will seek to form a therapeutic relationship with you as the success of counselling is dependent on this mutual bond leading to a transformative experience.

Claire offers short- and long-term Counselling.

Claire has a wide range of experience spanning 22 years. Since graduating from university in 2000 with a Psychology degree she has worked for Social Services and the NHS within Mental Health Services. This has involved various roles from client facing to managerial roles. A decade ago, Claire realised that her passion was collaborating with people face to face, empathising and facilitating the resolution of issues.  This led to Claire training as a counsellor.
