About Jess

Jess is a Clinical Psychologist who uses an integrative approach in her clinical work, drawing on principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). An integrative approach allows her to develop formulations and interventions which are individualised and tailored to the client. During sessions she aims to create a safe space for you to reflect, build on your strengths and enhance skills for nurturing your own wellbeing. This will be done collaboratively, compassionately and at a pace you feel comfortable with.

As a Clinical Psychologist Jess has experience helping people with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression and low mood, phobias, OCD, trauma, low self-esteem and grief. She has also worked in physical health settings with individuals who have been affected by cancer. She has particular interest and expertise working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Her experience extends to assessing and diagnosing Autism and she is able to provide post-diagnostic support where necessary.
