About Kathy
Kathy works with individuals seeking therapeutic support to improve emotional wellbeing and find solutions to their issues. Just as we can suffer a physical illness, we can find our mental health impacted by challenging circumstances and life events.

Client and therapist work together to explore things, working to understand situations, themselves and their emotional and behavioural reactions to situations in order to gain greater self-awareness and facilitate change. This process puts you (the client) in the driving seat, with the therapist utilising their knowledge and experience to help you better understand things, create healthy coping strategies and find improved emotional wellbeing.

Kathy works in an Integrative way. The therapeutic approach is discussed within the first sessions and will be unique to the needs of the client. We work together, taking into account your needs, goals, budget, timescales, to ensure a tailored approach to your requirements.

Kathy has experience working in agencies, organisations and in private practice, supporting Anxiety (including Generalised Anxiety Disorder), Depression, Stress, phobias, bereavement, trauma, addictive behaviours, low self esteem, relationship issues, self harm, Aspergers syndrome, bullying, domestic violence, low confidence, emotional regulation, self sabotaging behaviours
